Community Health Representatives
The Community Health Representatives of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe is a medically guided paraprofessional component serving the residents who reside within the Northern Cheyenne Reservation. The CHR program consists of well-trained, community-based, health care providers who provide health promotion and disease prevention services in their communities to achieve the mission of the Board of Health.
Purpose:
Provide health education and health promotion through community outreach opportunities, tribal health events, and school-based health care activities. Transport patient who live on the Reservation to clinic for various appointments, and deliver medication to patients.

CHR Programs started in 1968
How to Get Involved:
Attend Community Outreach events, come in to the CHR Office for incentives and blood pressure screening and education.
